With the stock market making a new all-time high yesterday for the 21st time this year, Tom and Tony reassess their strategy selection and adjust for a bullish market. They find that the S&P 500 has made a new high 218 times in the last decade, and it has tended to drift higher in the days afterwards.
When looking at a longer-term reaction in stocks, however, the guys found that the market was actually less bullish than usual. This information lands them at the short call strategy, which affords traders more time and a higher probability of success than short the outright.
