Frönen is a non-dairy, Paleo "nice" cream. Jessica Gartenstein & Erik Nedeau are the Co-founders. They founded the company while they were undergraduates at the University of Chicago. The idea for Frönen came about because Jessica has celiac disease and dairy sensitivity - limited to a gluten-free and dairy-free diet, she longed for a healthy and tasty non-dairy ice cream. The two won a business plan contest at the Booth School of Business for Frönen and officially launched in the summer of 2018. Frönen’s current flavors include Banana Coconut, Chocolate, Strawberry, Cinnamon, and Madagascar Vanilla.
