We may be hard at work planning some exciting new programming for 2018 (and beyond!), but that doesn't mean we can't stop and take the time to reflect on the exciting new shows we launched this year!
Where Do I Start: Amped To Trade
Launched in July of this year, Where Do I Start: Amped To Trade follows the journey of Anthony Izzo of tastytrade's tech department as he learn the ins and outs of options trading from Dr. Jim. Amped To Trade airs Monday through Friday at 1pm CT.
Where Do I Start: Options 101
tastytrade rang in the new year with another installment of our popular options trading education series Where Do I Start - this time with Brittany of our front office team! Options 101 ran from January to March, then picked back up in April when Brittany threw off her training wheels for Options 201. Today, Brittany has graduated from the basic nuts & bolts, so she joins us every Thursday morning at 10:30am CT for Where Do I Start: Graduate School, where she walks through a trade she might consider making - with a little guidance from your favorite tastytrade veteran traders.
Trading For Newbies
By now, it's pretty safe to assume that Ryan & Beef never sleep. They've been here at tastytrade for longer than most, and between the two of them, they have a hand in countless show segments, projects, and different departments. But in case that's not enough, they recently decided to create a new mini-series to help absolute beginners understand how options trading works. Trading For Newbies airs on Tuesday and Thursday mornings during The Ryan & Beef Show.
Connect the Dots Podcast
Resident robot lover, news junkie and tastytrade problem solver Vonetta Logan found it at least a little ridiculous that in 2017, we didn't have our own podcast. So, she created Connect the Dots, a weekly podcast about a little bit of everything - finance for Millennials, trading success stories, and a whole slew of other hot-button money-related topics. Subscribe to Connect The Dots on iTunes or Google Play.
Who among us can say they've never found themselves staring down at a stack of tax forms, sweaty-palmed and nervous? Taxes can be nerve-racking on their own - doubly so when you're a serious trader. While it's not quite tax season yet, our co-CEO Kristi Ross is here to save you from tax-related misery come April. Kristi's Tax Bursts is a new series of quick video tips that touch on the finer points of tax preparation for traders.
Fun fact: Back in 2014, in the few weeks that elapsed from the day Mike Butler first interviewed with tastytrade to the day he started working on our support team, he managed to completely teach himself a strong working knowledge of options trading, just so he'd be ready. The moral? Dude understands time management, he knows how to study, and he knows how to hustle. Everyday Trader debuted in January 2017, with Mike's hope being that he could guide tastytraders through trading as a part of every day life, but not having to make it your whole life. You can watch Everyday Trader every Monday through Friday at 1:20pm CT.
Where Do I Start: Futures, Fourth Generation
We were so delighted to watch along as our summer intern Chris Mulmat learned how to trade futures from his dad Pete Mulmat live on Where Do I Start: Futures, Fourth Generation!
Resize And Analyze
Tom Sosnoff is a man who lives large. He's approximately 11 feet tall, he drives a Land Rover the size of most city apartments, and he's got about 400 pounds of dog living in his house. So needless to say, he makes some pretty big trades, too. But what about the rest of us puny mortals who love his trade ideas... but can't quite whip up that much capital? Enter James Blakeway of the Research Team. On Resize and Analyze every Friday morning, James re-works some of Tom's better trades from that week, sized for smaller accounts.
Katie's Trade of the Week
Breaking up the boys' club! Once a week, Katie breaks down a trade she's into on Katie's Trade of the Week.
Research Specials Live
Who says Tom should get the last word? Whenever they're actually able to elbow Tom & Tony out of the studio, the fellas of the Research Team assemble to give their takes on recent research studies. You can watch Research Specials Live here.
In the Hot Seat with Pete
Making trades around earnings is not really a thing you want to be cavalier about. Luckily, Pete Mulmat is here to advise. Check out In the Hot Seat With Pete here.
