Harvinder is one of our most beloved Rising Stars because, duh, that accent! Also, he knows what he’s doing when it comes to trading and you gotta love the dedication of someone managing to trade the US markets even though they’re 6 hours ahead time wise. Tune in as Vonetta recaps her trading experience with Harvinder.

Jamie R is one of our phenomenal rising stars, and he’s super relatable because he trades with a comparably smaller account (10k - 20k) than some of our other featured stars. He’s been trading in good times and in bad, and Vonetta was happy that he shared his small account tips with her. Read more in this week’s Rolling Trades blog.

Rakshak is one of our youngest rising stars, but the dude knows not only how to trade, but also how to balance trading, working, and having some semblance of a normal life. Plus, his laid back vibe is super chill and makes Vonetta feel better. There’s a ton of great lessons in this episode but let’s break it down into its simplest terms here in this blog.

Our special guest this week is Michael S. from Las Vegas. This guy was a hit on our Rising Star episodes and you can follow all of his trades on the tastyworks follow page (just like Tony from Mexico and Fauzia). He’s a retired USAF Captain who used to fly KC-130s and when he’s not hanging out with models, DJs and other celebrities in Vegas, he spends all of his time trading. Read more about Vonetta’s learnings with him during their epsiode of Rolling Trades.

Tony from Mexico probably has the best “How I Met Tom” story of all the rising stars. Apparently, after losing all of his money in his account when he was first learning to trade, Tony got sent to “learn the ropes” from Tom Sosnoff on the advice of his dad and it was a match made in trader heaven. They bonded over selling premium, using probability, and of course their love of sandwiches. Check out Vonetta’s weekly blog on her tips she learned from Tony.

The Jade Lizard is a neutral to bullish options strategy. It consists of a short call vertical spread combined with a short naked Put option. When the credit received is LARGER than the width of the call spread, there is no risk to the upside. Ideally, the stock stays within a given range. Maximum profit on the position is the credit received. As tastytraders, we like to put on this type of strategy in times of High Implied Volatility. Additionally, this strategy can be used when put skew is present. Read more about Vonetta’s learnings on Jade Lizards in her first blog from Season 2 of “Rolling Trades”
